Dating Habits
Digital or physical dating… what's your take?
We asked the Zaxee community how they approach the digital-versus-in-person question when it comes to dating. With 467 votes, the results tell a clear story — and it's one that will resonate with anyone who's tired of apps that keep you scrolling instead of actually meeting people.
136 votes — Male: 70 · Female: 60 · Non-binary: 6
107 votes — Male: 50 · Female: 50 · Non-binary: 7
84 votes — Male: 44 · Female: 35 · Non-binary: 5
79 votes — Male: 42 · Female: 32 · Non-binary: 5
61 votes — Male: 30 · Female: 27 · Non-binary: 4
The headline result — nearly a third of our members preferring in-person from the very start — reflects something we hear often in the Zaxee community. For people who've chosen clarity over noise, genuine presence matters. The screen feels like another layer between you and the person you're trying to know.
What's also interesting is the strong showing for "a mix of both" (22.9%) and "digital first, quickly offline" (18.0%). Together that's over 40% of respondents who see value in digital as a starting point — but are deliberate about not letting it stay digital. That instinct aligns with what Zaxee is built for: use the app to find someone worth meeting, then go meet them.
The smallest group — those sceptical of digital dating but giving it a shot — is still 61 people. That's 61 people stepping outside their comfort zone because they want connection badly enough to try something new. We respect that enormously.
